Our Romantic Redneck 4th of July...

As most of you probably know, David and I spent this 4th of July weekend together in AL. We had a GREAT long weekend together! This picture basically sums up our entire weekend. It shows David enjoying a cold beverage and what furniture I do have in the house I am renting.

David and I spent the weekend relaxing, eating BBQ, and watching movies. The only fireworks we saw were in the rear view mirrors as we drove to the movie theater :(

Even though we missed the fireworks we both are happy to report that Transformers 2 and The Hangover are great movies. Transformers 2 was action packed and The Hangover had us laughing so hard we were crying.

As usual, David and I also carved out some time to organize our lives together since the majority of the time we are running independent households. I know this sounds awful, but it is our reality. Our meeting of the minds produced some positive outcomes (tentative graduation dates) and some negative outcomes (money available for debt pay down), but once again we reaffirmed that we are strong and trucking full steam a head.
