I just tallied the numbers for May! As of May 30, 2009, David and I have paid off 9.4% of our debt. Two months into this journey we are averaging 4.7% a month. We are pretty impressed with ourselves :) and hope that we can increase our "debt pay down" over the Summer.
Things may get tight.
David is starting his first class towards finishing his degree and I will lose my income after August 31st. Scary times ahead, but hopefully we can push through them. We always seem to muscle our way through, but this real life mess is depressing. If anybody out there knows when life gets easier, we would love a heads up.

I had another comment/thought. Do you remember when I used to bounce checks and you used to help me organize my checkbook! HAhahha!
